BioNanoMed 2010 includes Poster Presentations & Danube University Poster Award

The two day congress BioNanoMed 2010 on 2-3 November 2010 in Krems/Austria will bring together academia, industry, governmental and non-governmental institutions to discuss current, emerging and future trends of the converging fields of Nanotechnology, Biotechnology and Medicine.
Poster presentations provide an opportunity to address a topic outside of a congress. The presentations should be very focused in the following scopes. Poster presentations will be set up and on display throughout the conference with scheduled opportunities for authors to be present for discussion and Q&A.

Submission date for abstracts: 17 October 2010
Notification of acceptance: 3-5 days after receiving the abstract

1) INSTRUCTIONS FOR ABSTRACTS

Nanotechnology: New frontiers in Medicine & Biology
The main themes for contributions to be submitted are:

- Nanoparticles / Nanocarriers
- Nanostructured Materials
- Nanotoxicology
- Synthetic Biology

ROUND TABLE SESSION
- The Future of Nanomedicine: Current Status and Future Prospects of Nanomedicine

SPECIAL SYMPOSIUM
- Promises kept? Where are the Products for Medical Application?

Your abstract submission must include all of the following:
1. PAPER TITLE
2. AUTHORS (principal author first). Must include authors’ names, affiliations and email address of the corresponding author.
3. ABSTRACT TEXT Half page maximum. Accepted abstracts will be included in the conference documents. Please submit only half page abstracts that are suitable for publication.
(Arial Narrow 11 pt used throughout, with title in bold).
Please remember to spell check your entire paper!

2) CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE
- Authors are expected to secure funding for travel, and accommodation, before submitting abstracts.
This will not be covered by the organisers of the BioNanoMed 2010.
- Only original material should be submitted.
- Commercial papers and papers with no new research/development content will not be accepted

- Abstracts should contain enough detail to clearly convey the approach and the results of the research.
- By submitting your abstract you agree that all permissions have been approved, and authorise the organisers of BioNanoMed 2010 to circulate your abstract for review and selection purposes and if it is accepted, to publish your abstract in the conference documents. Authors are required to attend the conference to present their work. Papers will not be published where no author attends the meeting.

3) INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
Posters should be in vertical format (DIN A0, height: 118 cm; width: 84 cm). Necessary Materials to fix the poster will be provided by the organiser. Poster Authors are kindly asked to mount their poster early in the morning of the first congress day and dismount it by the end of the congress. The presenting author must be available during the whole poster session assigned to answer questions and discuss about the presented work.
